MULTICRAB - TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 98 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS PROTECTIVE SCREEN WITH PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (P.P.E.) 1 3 3 •Fit the bottom ledger and the intermediate ledger from the protected level with rails and midrails with ledgers. •Fit a level of 0.70 m cantilevers at 1.00 m of the deck of the CRAB protective screen in order to allow for the fitting of the upper ledger. •Slide the metal sheets on the ledgers of the CRAB protective screens until they are locked in the bottom pins. •Fit the top pins. •Assemble the upper levels with collective protection complying with the appropriate instructions. •Inspect the scaffolding and put the inspection report in the pocket on the “no entry” sign. 5 2 4 •Assemble the structure with collective protection complying with the appropriate instructions. •Stop the assembly at the level of the deck of the CRAB protective screens. •Fit the anchors attached to the 2 uprights. •Access the upper level following the assembly procedure with P.P.E. •Fit the guardrail ledgers and CRAB protective screens. •Position the Crab protective screen parallel to the guardrail ledgers. FITTING TECHNIQUE •Place the studding in the stirrup at 50 cm under the deck, then the clamp of the protective screen in the stirrup of the deck. •Pivot the assembly 90° and key.
