Clothing • Manufactured of a material that is suitable to the activity. •Adapted to the activity. • Adapted to the weather conditions: rain, cold, heat… Safety gloves • Work carrying risks for hands: cuts, hazardous product… •Favour the grasping of parts. •Protect from heat and cold. Safety shoes • Work carrying risks of falling object on feet, crushing or perforation of the sole. Safety harness • Work exposed to the risk of falling from a height. Must be worn on all worksites Must be worn when handling and manually transporting parts Must be worn on all worksites Must be worn at all times during assembling and dismantling operations of scaffolding INFORMATION This list is not complete. It can be supplemented by specific equipment (goggles, ear protection, life jackets, masks and hoods, dry-suits, etc.) or by any equipment made necessary according to the specific environment in which the operators work or technical and technological innovations. EMPLOYER OBLIGATIONS •Determination with the health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCT) of the P.P.E. that is suitable for the risks to be prevented and the work to be carried out. •Make the required P.P.E. available free of charge. •P.P.E. is reserved for personal use in the framework of the professional activities of the person they are attributed to. •Ensure that the P.P.E. made available is indeed used. •On an annual basis, check the compliance of the P.P.E. that is made available. •Inform and train the persons in charge of implementing and maintaining P.P.E. •Check the good condition and operation of the P.P.E. •Inform the users of the risks against which the P.P.E. is to protect them. •Train and have the users practice wearing P.P.E. by an approved body. USER OBLIGATIONS •Comply with the conditions for using, storing and maintaining that are specified in the instructions delivered by the manufacturer and in the instructions for use developed by the employer. •Report defective or outdated equipment •"In accordance with the instructions given by the employer... each work is responsible for ensuring, according to their function and their training and according to their possibilities, their safety and their health as well as that of the other persons concerned due to their acts and omissions at work." •After deterioration, expired date or in the event of a fall, the user must replace all of these devices.
