PRESENTATION - TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 24 TRACEABILITY AND NF MARKING The NF mark requires that the finished product or the sub-assemblies be identified and tracked. Traceability must be ensured all throughout the operations that takes place during the elaboration thereof (even in the case of subcontracting) and after they are placed on the market. All the sub-assemblies of a certified equipment model are listed in an NF parts lit that is mentioned on the attestation issued by AFNOR Certification. These sub-assemblies are subject to evaluations and are subjected to NF marking. Marking has to be carried out via a deformation of the material, as a hollow or in relief: marking via stamping, rolling, micro-percussion with a minimum depth or relief of 1/10 mm. It has to be legible. AFNOR Certification annually issues a certificate for the right to use the "NF096 - Worksite equipment" mark. CERTIFICATE / CERTIFICATION A sign of recognition and guarantee of confidence, the NF mark reassures users and professionals in their choice. It is awarded to the best products. The NF mark guarantees compliance both with current standards and with additional quality criteria meeting user needs. Sampled equipment undergoes testing by AFNOR's technical secretariat (GINGER CEBTP), enabling AFNOR Certification to certify due compliance of the product with the "NF 096 - Worksite equipment" reference standard. All throughout the year, the production units ensure the quality of the raw materials received, components from our subcontractors with audits for the latter and of the finished products by conducting systematic tests. A SIGN OF QUALITY AND SAFETY The NF096 mark, managed by AFNOR, validates the design of a model of equipment comprising duly identified elements, conducts tests, checks the design note and through audits ascertains that the manufacturing quality is constant over time by conducting inter partes inspections of both the production materials and the finished products. It applies only to prefabricated and anchored service scaffolding for façades, such as specified in standards NF EN 12810 and NF EN 12811. Scaffolding can only be deemed NF-certified if all its sub-assemblies are included in the parts list and bear the NF mark. The NF mark guarantees users that scaffolding erected with elements from the same model is compliant with the standards and with the mark's specific regulations, and that its strength and stability can be justified by calculation.
