ACCESS STAIRCASES - TECHNICAL INFORMATION - 2023 184 10-STANDARD WORKSITE STAIRCASE WITH STEEL FLIGHTS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WITH SAD GUARDRAIL •Put the 10 baseplates on blocks. •Fit the basic standards. •Level the first ledger by adjusting the baseplates. •Put in place the Panaciers on the bottom landing and assembly Panaciers on the bottom level. •Fit the 3.00 m uprights. •Temporarily remove the 2.50 m ledgers to fix the right and left stringers. •Position and maintain the lock with the centring spanner and tighten the nut with a 24 mm spanner. •Fit the 2 additional assembly Panaciers. •Fit and lock SAD guardrails on the outside using ledgers. •Put in place the first-level ledgers and the guardrail ledgers at the bottom of the flight. •Square the cells and fit the 3 diagonal braces. 1 2 3 •Fit the “no entry” sign. •Fit Panaciers on the first landing and 5 additional assembly Panaciers. •Fit the steps from the top downwards. Lock the inner hooks with self-tightening clips on the bottom legs. •Remove the 5 assembly Panaciers on the bottom level. •Raise the ledger 0.50 m above the bottom landing to match the headroom of 2.50 m. •Install the first 4 diagonal braces acting as lateral guardrails. •From the staircase, fix the tether hook into a stirrup 1.00 m above the landing. •To ensure operator safety, fit a 2.50 m ledger 1.00 m from the central side. •Fit the 2.00 m uprights. 4 5 6 •Fit the last 2 diagonal braces acting as handrails. •Fit the toe boards and third ledger on the guardrail of the final landing. •Temporarily remove the 2.50 m ledgers to fix the stringers. •Lay the right and left stringers. •Fit and lock SAD guardrails on the outside using ledgers. •Fit the ledgers on the second level, the 3 diagonal braces and the Panaciers on the second landing. •Refit the 5 assembly Panaciers on the bottom level. •Fix anchors every 4.00 m. 7 8 9 P.P.E.
